Our Purpose
Beyond League exists to support young women who are experiencing distress, disadvantage or reduced access to support, particularly in relation to mental health, social connection and self-confidence.
While Beyond League’s primary focus is supporting girls and young women experiencing social, emotional and mental health challenges, we may include boys in certain programs where appropriate.
This inclusion supports safe, inclusive and effective program delivery, particularly in school or community settings, and helps foster positive peer relationships, respect and shared learning.
Our programs remain targeted toward supporting young women experiencing disadvantage, with participation structured to ensure this focus is maintained.

The Need
Many girls and young women face increasing challenges, including anxiety, emotional distress, social isolation, bullying, body image pressures and limited access to positive support networks.
Without support, these challenges can contribute to ongoing mental health issues and disengagement from education or community.
Who We Support
We support girls and young women aged 8–22, particularly those who:
• Are experiencing emotional or social challenges
• Have limited access to support services
• Face financial or social barriers
• Are identified by schools or community organisations as needing additional support

How We Help
Our programs provide:
• Safe, supportive environments
• Mentorship from trusted role models
• Practical tools to manage stress and build resilience
• Opportunities for connection to reduce isolation
• Accessible programs, including free and low-cost options
Our Approach
Our work is grounded in early intervention — supporting young women before challenges escalate into more significant issues.
We provide a non-clinical, accessible pathway to support through sport, mentorship and connection.

Our Impact
We aim to:
• Reduce isolation and increase connection
• Improve confidence and self-worth
• Strengthen emotional resilience
• Increase engagement with school and community
• Provide pathways to further support
Our Commitment
We are committed to ensuring our programs are accessible, inclusive and targeted to those who need them most, working closely with schools and community organisations to reach young women who may benefit from additional support.

How We Identify and Support Those Most in Need
Beyond League uses an intake and referral process to help identify young women who may benefit most from our programs.
Participants may be referred through:
• Schools
• Community organisations
• Parents or carers
• Self-referral
Our intake process helps us understand each participant’s needs, including:
• Social and emotional wellbeing
• Confidence and self-esteem
• Access to support networks
• Any barriers to participation
This allows us to prioritise young women experiencing greater levels of disadvantage, distress or reduced access to support, and to ensure our programs are delivered in a way that best meets their needs.
Where demand exceeds capacity, priority is given to participants identified as experiencing higher levels of need or disadvantage.
