Program Highlights

Our program highlights showcase how Beyond League delivers practical support to young people experiencing social, emotional and confidence-related challenges across different communities.

Each program is designed to provide a safe, supportive environment where participants can build confidence, connection and resilience.

Central Coast Clinics

Beyond League delivered clinics across the Central Coast, supporting young people in Wyong, Woy Woy and Northern Lakes. Free access was provided to ensure participation.”

Many participants were experiencing low confidence, social challenges and limited access to structured support programs.

Each session combined rugby league skills with structured wellbeing support, helping participants to:

• Build confidence and self-esteem 

• Strengthen teamwork and social connection 

• Develop resilience and coping skills 

These clinics provided a safe and supportive environment, giving young people the opportunity to feel included, supported and connected.

Highlands Storm

We delivered a targeted clinic for Highlands Storm girls, supporting participants who were developing confidence and skills in a supportive setting. Participants were referred through local schools and community networks.

The session focused on:

• Building confidence in contact situations 

• Developing safe tackling techniques 

• Strengthening resilience and teamwork 

Participants were supported not only in skill development, but also in building confidence and overcoming fear and self-doubt, creating a positive and encouraging environment for growth.

Goulburn Clinics 

Our Goulburn clinics were delivered with support from Canberra Raiders athletes, providing young participants with access to positive role models and mentorship. This program was delivered in an under-resourced area

The program supported young people who may have limited access to structured development opportunities by:

• Building confidence and self-belief 

• Developing core rugby league skills 

• Creating a safe environment for learning and connection 

Participants benefited from both skill development and meaningful mentorship, helping them feel supported on and off the field.

Thirlmere Roosters Program 

Our 4-week program with the Thirlmere Roosters supported young participants to build confidence, resilience and emotional awareness.

Through weekly sessions, participants:

• Developed safe tackling techniques and physical confidence 

• Explored emotional responses to challenge and performance 

• Built resilience, mindset and perseverance 

This program provided consistent, structured support, helping participants build both practical skills and emotional confidence over time.

Camden High School- International Women’s Day

Beyond League delivered a session with Year 12 students at Camden High School, supporting young women navigating academic pressure, identity development and future uncertainty.

The session focused on:

• Building resilience in the face of challenges 

• Strengthening confidence and self-belief 

• Encouraging connection and support networks 

By sharing lived experiences, the session created a space where students could feel understood, supported and encouraged, reinforcing the importance of seeking support and backing themselves.

Camden Rams 4 Week Program 

The Beyond League 4-Week Girls Tackle Program is designed to build confidence, resilience, and safe tackling technique in a supportive and empowering environment. Delivered by experienced female athletes, each session combines skill development, game-based learning, and mentorship to help girls grow both on and off the field.

 

Perfect for players of all experience levels, this program focuses on developing strong fundamentals, teamwork, and self-belief while fostering a love for the game.
