The need for programs like Beyond League has never been greater. Research shows that one in four girls report experiencing high levels of psychological distress, while body image concerns and the pressures of the online world continue to escalate. For many young people, particularly those in regional and under-resourced communities—support is limited or unavailable.

Beyond League exists to bridge this gap. By harnessing the power of sport, we foster connection, courage, and resilience. Our clinics and workshops help girls feel strong, supported, and seen, while also providing them with the practical tools they need to navigate life with confidence.

Every Beyond League initiative is grounded in our four key pillars: giving back to the game, championing mental health and wellbeing, creating access for all, and showcasing strong female role models.

Through a combination of clinics, workshops, and mentorship, we blend rugby league skills with vital lessons in resilience and self-esteem. Participants gain access to inspiring NRLW athletes who serve not only as coaches, but as mentors and role models who show what’s possible. Just as importantly, our programs are structured to ensure under-resourced communities are never left behind, making inclusivity a cornerstone of everything we do.

In the next 12 months, our goals are ambitious yet achievable. We aim to reach more than 1,000 girls, deliver over 15 clinics across Queensland, New South Wales, and the ACT, and employ more than 20 NRLW players as paid mentors. With the support of sponsors and partners, we will also provide fully subsidised access for low-income families, ensuring no young person is excluded from the opportunity to build confidence, resilience, and connection through Beyond League.
